For Coaches Ready to Turn Their Calling into Their Career
Over the past twenty-plus years that I’ve been a coach and been a client of coaches, I’ve met a lot of them. While they were all unique in their own way they also shared one common denominator — they wanted to make a significant difference with their clients. Many, I’d even say most, wanted to turn their calling into their career — they wanted what they did for their livelihood to be consistent with their life purpose, that deep calling to have their life matter.
Within a year or two of founding Life On Purpose Institute in 1996, my wife, Ann, and I realized that we had a “tiger by the tail,” in that the subject of life purpose was a universal one with more people wondering how they could go about becoming clear about their personal life purpose than we could ever hope to serve. So, in 1998 we started training others as Life On Purpose Coaches for the simple reason that it was an action consistent with our corporate vision to be a catalyst for creating a world on purpose.
Whether you are a life coach with many years of experience, or a fairly new coach still learning how to be both effective and successful at your chosen profession, or even if you’re just someone who is curious about what it might take to become a life coach, we’re here to help. We realize that choosing a profession is not an easy task, and perhaps choosing to be a life coach is even more daunting because there are so many different forms of coaching available, and it’s a relatively new field that many people still don’t understand.
We also realize that Life On Purpose Coaching isn’t for everyone, and that’s the type of coaches we train. Of course, you may elect to add Life On Purpose Coaching to your existing coaching practice, or you may decide it would be a useful and valuable addition to your other profession, whether it’s counseling, ministry, as a psychotherapist, or other profession.
So, let’s take a look together to see if being a Life On Purpose Coach might be your chosen way to have your calling be your career.
